3 day face & ear reconstruction workshop

Head and neck weekend for those having completed 5 day event

Doctors who have completed the five day skin cancer workshop are invited to return for the advanced three day workshop in skin cancer medicine.

 

The advanced weekend focus is on difficult areas of the body: lip, ear, nose, eyelid, and cheek.The 2010 program has been expanded compared with the 2009 program. 20 reconstructions are now explained, demonstrated and then practised on the pig head over three days.

  

The next advanced weekend will be:

The program includes 6 sessions of 2 hours and 4 sessions of 1.5 hours.

18 hours of eduation over 3 days.

a) Closing a defect that is partly on cheek and partly on nose

b) Skin graft from upper eyelid to lower eyelid

c) Mucosal advancement flap on lip

d) Skin graft to scapha / antehelix on ear
