Mary Dixon
Mary is Dr. Anthony Dixon's wife. She is the nurse manager of our centre. Mary assists with surgery, provides sun care education, dressings, removal of sutures, etc,.
Mary also has a vital and ongoing role in the research we undertake here at Skincanceronly. In "blinded" trials the surgeon is not to know who gets each of the treatment options. Mary's role is to coordinate the randomization and the separate research database so as the surgeon remains unware of which patients are on which treatment.
Mary also has a research role in explaining the research protocols to patients and ensuring the strict ethics approved protocols are maintained.
Simone Wilson
Simone is Practice Manager at Skincanceronly.
Simone is a senior full time nurse and has been with the practice since 2006. Simone has a vital role in organising our workshops and educational events. She is also involved in assisting with procedures, dressings, wound management as well as reception duties for the practice.
Ashlee Claridge
Ashlee is a skin cancer nurse at Skincanceronly.
Ashlee's duties include setting up for procedures, assisting with procedures, dressings, wound care, sterlising, reception duties and patient records.
Ashlee joined our team in 2009.
Janine Thorpe
Janine is a casual nurse at skincanceronly. Janine works in theatre assiting with procedures, setting up and sterilising.
Janine has worked with skincanceronly since 2002.
