Have been involved in teaching skin cancer surgery to medical students and doctors since 1989.
Doctors also attend my practice for preceptorship weeks to experience “hands on” skin cancer management.
Community education and “sun smart” programs to service groups, schools, parent groups, media, etc,.

§ Simple skin excisions
§ Punch / shave / excisional / curette and incisional skin biopsies
§ Random pattern skin flap procedures - a large array of types
§ Island flap type procedures including
§ Full thickness excision and repairs of lip, eyelid, ear, nose, cheek
§ Full thickness skin grafts including punch grafts
§ Interpolation flaps
§ Myocutaneous flaps
§ Supratrochlear (forehead) flap repairs
§ Lymph node biopsies: - fine needle aspirate
§ Partial thickness skin grafts
§ Margin control surgery
§ Scar revision including dermabrasion and wound refashion
§ Cryotherapy
§ Skin curettage
§ Surgery for all types of skin tumour including malignant melanoma, BCCs and SCCs
§ Photodynamic therapy
§ Regional nerve field blocks
Procedures NOT undertaken
Cosmetic procedures are not undertaken. My practice focuses exclusively on treatment of pathological skin lesions. No procedures are undertaken where there is no skin lesion, naevus or pathology present.
Laser therapies are not performed.
